1. What is reflective film
Reflective film is a retro-reflective material that has been made into a film and can be directly applied. It is made using glass bead technology, microprism technology, synthetic resin technology, film technology and coating technology and micro-replication technology. It is usually white, yellow, red, green, blue, brown, orange, fluorescent yellow, fluorescent orange, fluorescent yellow-green, and there are also fluorescent red and fluorescent pink abroad.
2. Classification of reflective film in my country
Reflective film in China is divided into 7 types according to its photometric structure and use.
- Class I, usually a lens embedded glass bead type structure, is called engineering grade reflective film, with a service life of generally 7 years, and can be used for permanent traffic signs and work area facilities.
- Class II, usually a lens embedded glass bead type structure, is called super engineering grade reflective film, with a service life of generally 10 years, and can be used for durable traffic signs Deterioration work area facilities
- Class III, usually sealed capsule glass bead structure, called high-strength reflective film, with a service life of 10 years, can be used for permanent traffic signs and work area facilities.
- Class IV, usually micro-prismatic structure, called super-strong reflective film, with a service life of 10 years, can be used for permanent traffic signs, work area facilities and contour marks.
- Class V, usually micro-prismatic structure, called high-angle reflective film, with a service life of 10 years, can be used for permanent traffic signs, work area facilities and contour marks.
- Class VI, usually micro-prismatic structure, with metal coating, with a service life of 3 years, can be used for contour marks and traffic columns, and can also be used for work area facilities and traffic signs with fewer characters when there is no metal coating.
- Class VII, usually micro-prismatic structure, flexible material, with a service life of 3 years, can be used for temporary traffic signs and work area facilities.
