How to solve the related problems encountered in the processing of film self-adhesive labels

  One, printing ink.
  1. Poor surface coating
The surface tension of the film material is low, and it needs to be coated before making the self-adhesive raw material. If the coating is not good, the ink will be lost during printing. Usually the ink falls off in a large area, especially when testing the tape, the surface ink will be stuck by the tape in a large area. At this time, the raw material supplier needs to replace a batch of qualified materials, or the printing company needs to print another layer of primer to increase the surface tension, but it will increase the cost.
  2. Poor match between ink and material
Ink drips caused by this cause usually appear as flakes or sporadic. Considering the material cost and customer demand, it is impossible to replace the material. At this point, you can find inks that match your material through your ink supplier. At the same time, the printing factory can also take some auxiliary measures, such as corona treatment of the material in advance.
  3. Corona effect is poor
The ink drop of thin film material is related to the surface energy of the material. The stronger the surface energy, the stronger the ink adhesion, and vice versa. However, the corona effect will decay over time, which may cause ink loss during printing. This phenomenon is more common in cheap BOPP and PE materials. Considering the high cost of coating, most manufacturers will corona. In this case, the manufacturer or supplier should corona again before printing.
  4. Poor UV drying.
The self-adhesive materials are mostly printed with UV ink, if not completely dry, the ink will fall off. This situation means that one or two colors are out of ink, and simply increasing the power of the UV lamp or replacing the UV lamp can solve the problem. Chongqing self-adhesive label manufacturers
  Second, printing false, weak, white.
  1. The surface roughness of the material is poor.
Usually, the surface smoothness of film materials is better than that of paper materials, but some special materials, such as heat-sensitive synthetic paper materials, have a layer of heat-sensitive coating on the surface, which may cause false printing and weak printing. This is due to the poor flatness of the coating, and high-density white spots can be seen after zooming in. At this time, the smoothness can be improved by applying ink to the surface of the material.
  2. Dust
Dust on the surface of the material will cause white spots to form during printing. There are many reasons for dust generation, the common ones are dander generated during cutting or powder dropped by the material itself. Usually there are few but large white spots, and dust will accumulate over time, which will increase the number of white spots. At this time, you can add a dust cloth before printing. For products with stricter requirements or larger areas, you can also print primer ink in front of a color group to avoid white spots.
