How to detect the quality of self-adhesive label materials?
In order to avoid as much as possible the failure of self-adhesive label printing due to the quality problems of the self-adhesive material itself, it is necessary to carefully check the appearance quality of the self-adhesive label material before printing, so that it is possible to detect possible quality problems during the printing process before printing. Problem flaws.

How to detect the quality problems of self-adhesive label materials, the following are five ways to detect the quality problems of self-adhesive materials.
1. Check whether the edge of the self-adhesive material is sticky, and whether the backing paper lacks silicon. Sticky edges of the self-adhesive material or lack of silicone oil in some areas of the backing paper will cause the top paper to break during the printing process. normal production. Therefore, before printing, take a piece of self-adhesive material about 1 meter long and peel it off by hand to see if there are edge parts or other parts that cannot be peeled off smoothly and evenly.
2. Check whether the self-adhesive material has burrs. The edges of self-adhesive materials are smooth and undamaged, which is the basis for ensuring the printing quality of self-adhesive labels. Therefore, the distribution of the self-adhesive material on the roll must be carefully checked before printing. Whether there are burrs on the cutting edge, whether it is caused by improper storage and transportation. If damaged, roll off the roll of self-adhesive material 4-5 times, carefully inspecting the cut edges.
3. Check the self-adhesive material for cracks. When cutting the self-adhesive material, if the knife is not adjusted properly or the blade is not sharp enough, cracks will appear on the surface of the self-adhesive material or on the backing paper.
Cracks appear on the edges of the dried adhesive material. Therefore, even if printing has already started, the above-mentioned problems cannot be ignored.
4. Check whether the slitting end face of the reel self-adhesive material is straight, and whether the winding tightness is consistent. If the slitting end surface of the roll of self-adhesive material is uneven, it will not only affect the registration during printing, but also make it difficult to discharge waste products due to changes in the die-cutting position; inconsistent tightness during winding will cause printing. Changes in paper force and uneven tension when brushing paper will also cause printing quality problems.
5. Before using different types of self-adhesive labels, be sure to test the type of adhesive to see whether the adhesive is self-adhesive, heat-sealable, or coated paper. Some adhesives chemically react with certain substances. For example, self-adhesive labels used as signs may stain some special fabrics under certain conditions. Some labels that require short-term tack will have long-lasting tack when exposed. On the other hand, some labels that require long-lasting tack lose their tack on certain surfaces.
